floyd mayweather is my favorite boxer next to manny pacquiao. i like mayweathers defense though it is amazing. how can i learn it?

Mayweather boxes uses the Philly Shell for defense while dancing around and using his hand speed to jab his opponents to death and outbox them. Start working on your hand speed through shadow boxing in addition to other boxing training and learn the Philly Shell defense. Here is an instructional video on how to do it. Remember it took Mayweather years to learn this so it will take you years as well. Practice using it during sparring sessions every now and then to see how you are coming along.

So i heard a spokesman for the Floyd Mayweather camp saying hes been training and looking to come back. But i havent seen any real intervies and stuff like that any info?

havent heard much either but thats just how boxing works. It looks like the last scheduled big fight so far is Haye vs. the brother in may. it goes in order. He isnt suppose to fight til june or july so it should be coming soon.

Paulie IS sub par! He’s also not a welterweight!

Hatton WAS too small! Once again, he’s not a welterweight!

Margarito IS one dimensional, but that one dimension is straight ahead…however, this point is moot since Floyd did not and WILL not fight him!

Floyd wouldn’t want any part of Paul Williams, so I don’t know why you’re even mentioning this one. If they DID fight, I think Williams would take it by decision based on sheer volume of punches.

Keep dreaming on this one, but it would be nice to see Floyd move up and meet him at 168, and I don’t care how old Bernard is, he’d take Mayweather’s ass to school!!!

What is Floyd to do?
How about fighting someone like the winner of the Mosley/Berto fight, or stop trying to dictate to the Nevada commission on how they should run a drug testing program? If Mayweather truly feels he’s the best pound for pound fighter, then he should be able to beat Pacquaio even if Manny comes to the ring with a bat! Floyd should shut up…that would be a good start!

I see all the time people calling Floyd a chicken, a coward, a ducker, etc, etc…

But why is it that very few criticize Pacquiao for doing the EXACT SAME THING?

He’s ducking Floyd Mayweather and he fights at catchweights.

How can ANYONE defend this phony? He’s the biggest ducker out there!

Because the Manny fanatics think that the JUICER is the good guy, and the clean fighter is the bad guy.

Floyd Mayweather is trying to do everything to avoid fighting him. Both of them are Undefeated and need to fight each other. What do you think.

I was at the fight in Boston and spoke to Hattons trainer Billy Graham after the fight and he said there is no way that Hatton will fight at Welterweight again and he would be dropping back down to get his belts back. I mentioned Mayweather to him and he said that it wont happen. I suppose though at the end of the day its up to Ricky as to whether he wants to be remembered as a legend and as the man who kicked Mayweathers backside. My personal opinion is drop back down and go for Cotto or Gatti although it would definitely be a great fight.
